Our castle, the baker’s house, and the apartments are all decorated in French style and offer all the comforts you need to truly unwind. The château and its apartments are nestled in the heart of a beautifully landscaped arboretum that was once created by the dendrologist, Mr. Delbez. You’ll also find spacious lawns for sunbathing, a jeu de boules court, a trampoline, private BBQs, a ping-pong table, and, of course, a spacious swimming pool to cool off in.

Within walking distance of our chateau, you’ll find several authentic French bakeries where you can get everything you need for a genuine French breakfast. Along the way, you’ll pass a good butcher shop, a cheese shop, and several delis to round out your breakfast.
Take a trip back in time by visiting the nearby castles, or enjoy the local wines by visiting the surrounding wineries for a tasting, the local flea markets, and the medieval towns in the area, such as Puy-l’Évêque, Rocamadour, or St. Cirque-la-Popie.
Our chateau enjoys a prime location near the charming village of Prayssac, making it easy for you to experience the local culture and community. Discover the local markets, delicatessens, boutiques, and restaurants, all just a stone’s throw from the chateau. This proximity combines the best of rural tranquility with the convenience of village life.
All year round, there’s a traditional French market in Prayssac every Friday morning, featuring all kinds of French delicacies. Château Camp del Saltre also has a booth there in the summer, selling its wines. A visit to this market is definitely worth it!
Join our other guests in enjoying our unique experiences. For example, during the summer vacation, we host a fun pizza or barbecue night twice a week in the courtyard of our chateau. Long tables set for dinner, delicious food and drinks. Outside of the summer vacation, we can also organize these evenings upon request!
